Week 23-I am loving life!

This week has been a lot of fun! Mommy and daddy took me to an infant massage class this week, and are going again tomorrow. All I know is that it felt good when they rubbed my legs and belly. I also got to go swimming on Friday. I have started to splash when I am in the water and get it all over my face! Mommy and daddy wished they had the camera for that! Our Parents as Teachers educator came too this week. It was a very busy week!

I got to eat carrots, and they were yummy just like squash. I hope sweet potatoes are just as good, because I heard that's what is on the menu for next week.

I also really like to play with my toys and be on my tummy. I like to move around a lot. One morning when mommy came to get me from my crib, I had turned all the way around so my feet were where my head should be! Mommy asked how I did that, but I'll never tell my secret!

Here I am trying to pet my favorite doggie Sadie...make sure you watch the whole thing because I don't know if Sadie likes it as much as I did!

Week 22.....Baptism, what a fun time!

This has been a week full of excitement! I got to eat squash for the very first time and I really loved it! Mommy, daddy and I also went swimming again. I am becoming a very accomplished roller over now. I visited Nana Arden and Papa Rodney when Daddy had to go help them get their TV working. The biggest event of the week was my Baptism. Mommy, Daddy and I traveled a few hours to get to the church and there we were met by all of my grandparents and my godparents. The priest rubbed some stuff on my neck and head and then poured water over my head. It was kind of like being in the bathtub or the pool. I had a really good time seeing all my grandparents and being passed around to spend time with each of them. I even got to be held by one of my great-grandparents. I am kind of looking forward to a more quiet week but I don't think that is in the cards. Mommy and daddy keep me pretty busy. I will be starting a new food tomorrow (I think they called it carrots) and we are also going to a baby massage class...that should be interesting. Well, I hope you all have a great week. Tune in next Sunday for all the details of my week!
Don't you just love my Baptism outfit? I am not too sure about the hat. Mmmmmmmm, squash! My pal Sadie! Sadie is not sure what to think of me! Me and Papa Rodney and Nana Arden! Me with Nana Carol and Papa Ron. My godparents! My great grandparents! Me with Grandpa Tom and Grandma Kathy
Here I am playing in my very best favorite toy-the Jumperoo!

Week 21...very very busy baby

This week has been really great. I got to go to the pool again, I finished up my second full week of eating cereal and sleeping in my crib. I got to go with Mommy to visit friends this weekend. I missed Daddy but we had a very fun time. I will officially turn 5 months old on the 15th so I am very excited about that. Mommy's birthday is this week too and I think Daddy went to the store and got her what I told him to get. We hope she will like it. Overall, it was a busy but very fun week. Daddy thought it would be funny to snap a picture of me while my teething toy was not in my mouth! I finally got it in my mouth and it made my gums feel a lot better. I love my jumper and all the lights and noises it makes. I am not sure if Sadie does though! Here I am at Mommy's friends house. We had a great time!
I did not like these sock things anyway!

Week 20...I'm a big girl!

Wow, what a week! I finally was able to start sleeping in my crib all night long. Mommy and daddy are so proud of me. I even slept through all the fireworks on the 4th of July. I also started eating "real" food. I have eaten rice cereal one time a day this whole week. It tastes different, but mommy and daddy keep telling me better things are going to come soon (like sweet potatos, squash, and carrots). I hope they are ready for some full diapers! HEHE. I have also learned two new things this week. The first thing I learned was to blow raspberries. Grandma Kathy taught me how to do that when we suprised her with a visit. I have gotten mommy and daddy wet with my raspberries all week long. I also learned how to roll myself over from my tummy to my back. Mommy and daddy clap and cheer when I do it. I guess they have been waiting a long time for this or something. It's pretty easy now that I know what they want me to do! I am looking forward to week 21 and all the adventures I will be up to. Here I am eating my first bowl of rice cereal...it tasted ok. Grandpa got to hold me for the first time and I loved it! Here I am in my 4th of July dress. Don't I look cute? Whew, this week has totally worn me out!
Here I am rolling over!
