14 Months...A few steps toward independence!

Would you believe it-I'm somewhat mobile! OK, so I only take a few steps here and there, but I can do it! Daddy even got it on film this past week, but then accidentally erased it! He felt so bad. I got to meet another set of grandparents for the first time right before Easter. Grandpa and Grandma Boyer came from Arizona! We had a lot of fun! We went to Mommy's hometown the Saturday of Easter and got to see more grandparents, but Mommy got really sick on Easter Sunday, so we had to skip the Easter fun at home. I was really good at finding eggs though. Too bad I couldn't run to get them! I am throwing balls a lot better with both hands and can even get up on the couch all by myself now. I can point to all of these body parts-hair, eyes, nose, mouth, tongue, ears, arms, hands, fingers, belly button, legs, feet, and toes! That's a lot, but I know there is more for me to learn! I am now drinking regular milk and can also say a few words like "up", "hi" while waving, and "yeah" when I want something. I can also sign "milk". I say other things too, but no one seems to understand what they mean! I loved Grandma Peggy's glasses! Grandma and Grandpa Boyer got my Rody, my new donkey friend! Hanging out on Easter These are pretty daffodils! Digging into my Easter basket Just one more, I promise! I wasn't gonna eat this, were you? Sick again-just another cold Glamour girl! Squirrel hunting Can you show me how to dunk, daddy? He said he could! Bear crawling!

13 1/2 Months...They keep me busy around here!

Happy April Fool's Day everyone! I have made a lot of changes in the last two weeks. I am now starting to drink real milk, and gave up my bottles. I started blowing kisses, giving high fives, and just plain showing my sense of humor! I love it when Mommy and Daddy pretend like they don't know where I am and I wait patiently until they say, "There she is!" That is so funny! I hung my spoon out of my mouth one day and waited for Mommy to see how funny it was. We both laughed about it, then I decided to turn it around because I knew that would be even funnier-and it was! Mommy said she really misses me being a baby, but that I am so much fun as a big girl! Daddy thinks I am a lot of fun too. Mommy is on spring break this week and we took a trip to see my grandparents. I helped take Grandpa Ron out to eat for his birthday and made his day by laughing with him. I also got to see my Great-Grandparents again. We then went to another baby shower at Mommy's old work. They were so surprised to see how big I am! I hear this next week is going to be just as eventful! I get to meet another set of grandparents and Easter is coming! Alfalfa!More crazy tub hair-the only time you can tell I even HAVE hair! I loved seeing the late March snow, on the first day of spring! I could try out for DeVo! Hiding behind Daddy's legs Kicking back with Mommy's cell phone Swimsuit model-it's that time of year again!Or do you like this one better? Laughing with Papa Ron on his birthday! No, I think it goes here, Grandma! Pucker up, Easter Bunny! Last week snow, this week sun? I love the spring weather! Kissing the little bears good night!
