I had my first field trip this month. Our class walked to Culver's. We got to walk in the freezer and refrigerator. I have made a lot of growth this month as a learner too. I know how to write my first and last name, and I found my "l's"! I make sure I put my tongue up by my teeth when I say "El-lie!" I also had mostly dry nights right before we moved, but that is hard in the new house.
I was excited to celebrate daddy's birthday, but he was sick. That made me sad, so I ate ice cream for him that day! We celebrated the next weekend at Nana Arden's.
My friend Carrie and I started the marathon for the summer. We did 1.2 miles around the lake. Only 21 more to go! The next day, I came home with a sore neck and mommy said I had 101 fever. She gave me some Tylenol for the ride to Grandma Kathy's and I was in a really good mood. I had a bad night terror that night though. I seemed a little better the next day when I stayed with Grandma Kathy while mommy had some time with Auntie Heather. After that, we visited Nana Carol and Nana Arden for Mother's day.
This week at bedtime, I told mommy I had a secret. "I love you. Thank you for giving birth to me in the new world like this...TA DA!"
Fancy tea party!

You got all my stuff, right?
They remembered to pack me too!
