30 weeks old...I love to play!

What a fun week! I got to eat peaches for the first time. I think they are my favorite so far. Mommy only has one more thing made that I haven't tried...plums. I'll let you know how I like them next week. I really like to play with everything and I am starting to talk a lot more. Mommy and I got to cuddle every chance we got. I tried to show Daddy how I like to knock my blocks together so they make noise. Tiger got to come in the house for a while and I heard that "gentle" word again. I just got so excited to see her that I just wanted to grab her! All these toys, and I chose the water bottle to play with! My other favorites-Mommy's hair and Daddy's ear! I love my new stuffed bear. I like to give it a hug when I am sitting up, but when I am laying down, look out!

29 Weeks...Silly cold!

I have really grown a lot this week! Annie said every day, she is noticing that I am losing my "baby-ness" and becoming more of a big girl. I am learning a lot, like what "gentle" means and how to point to pictures. I got to eat peas this week, and I liked them a lot! They have been holding out on me though-I hear I get to eat peaches tomorrow! Unfortunately with Mommy and Daddy going back to work and me going to Annie's, I seem to have caught a cold. I tried to be in a good mood even though I didn't feel well. I had my first runny nose and they used that bulb syringe on me-yuck! I'm going to try to learn how to run away before my next cold!
Just look at how hard it was for me to breathe! Mommy stayed up with me all night one night again. It doesn't look like she minded too much!

When I was feeling better, Mommy and Daddy taught me how to point to Sadie in a picture!

Sometimes, I like to play rough. I heard the word "gentle" a lot this week. Here I am practicing being gentle with Sadie. She didn't like it when I pulled her fur!

I didn't have to be "gentle" with this puppy!

I want to be just like Daddy when I grow up!

I love it when Mommy takes me outside and I can hear all the different noises and see nature!

By the end of the week, I was a happy girl again!

Week 28...A week of visitors

This has been such a busy week! Mommy went back to work for real and she was very sad. I did great at Annie's though! I also got to try pears this week. They were yummy, just like all the other food I have eaten. Nana Arden came and brought Daddy's Aunt Michelle and Grand-Nana for a visit. I had a lot of fun with them. I had my 6 month check-up this week too. I now weigh 19 1/2 pounds and am 27 3/4 inches long! I'm getting so big! I got 3 shots too, but only cried a little bit. I didn't feel all that great the next day though. On Saturday, Grandma and Grandpa and Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa came for a visit. I love having company, especially when they all play with me! Today, Mommy's friends came with their daughter. I got to play again! I got some good snuggle time with Mommy in the evenings-I miss her during the day!Here I am laughing with Great Aunt Michelle! I liked to pull Grandpa's mustache, and he didn't seem to mind too much! Four generations! I shared my toys with my new friend. Mommy and friend and daughters! They finally let me play with the Care Bear, and I had a blast!

Week 27....Kind of cool, kind of sad

Hi all! This week has been really great but also a little sad. Mommy goes back to work full time this week so we are both a little down about that. I know I will have fun at the sitters but will be looking forward to seeing her or daddy pick me up. This week was really busy so there are not a lot of pictures of me but the ones we do have are cute...I think! I got to go to two birthday parties this weekend. One was in St. Louis and one was my cousin's. They were both exciting with many people on hand. I finished my last round of green beans (for now) and I think I have something special waiting for me tomorrow night...mommy calls them pears. I got to spend some time with the cat too but unfortunately she is back in lock down again. Here I am with one of my favorite blocks! If you look really close you can see my two front teeth (on the bottom) sorry for the blurry picture, but I don't hold still real well yet. Here I am with Auntie Heather...I think she likes me! MMMMM, this type of food looks a lot better than my regular stuff! I am just so dang happy, especially when the pets are around!

Week 26....6 months old and my two front teeth!

I turned 6 months old this week. Happy half birthday to me! Mommy and Daddy got me a new stuffed animal and it is a doggy, kind of like Sadie only smaller. I was supposed to have my doctors appointment but it was rescheduled so I escaped my shots for a few more weeks :-) I got to go swimming with Mommy for the last time this summer. We all went to my babysitter's welcome back bbq. It was fun to see some of my old friends. I now have my first two teeth as well...boy did they hurt coming in. I also got to eat bananas for the very first time. I thought mommy said throw the bananas but she really said "Go Bananas!" If you look really closely you can see my bottom two teeth! Mommy can't keep up with trimming my toenails so I thought I would help her out! I have so many animals now but I still love monkey the best! Awwwwww, will Daddy ever say no to me? Here I am laughing with Mommy.

Week 25...MMMM Applesauce!

Wow! This has been a very fun week, but I have really missed Daddy. He went back to work this week. Mommy and I had a good time together. We took a trip, went to story-telling at the library, and went to the pool again by ourselves! I also got my 6 month pictures taken. We had visitors too-my godparents came, but Mommy and Daddy forgot to get the camera out. :( I had my first taste of fruit too...I really like applesauce!

Here I am sitting up all by myself! I want to be like Daddy and use the remote for the big screen! I finally caught that silly bird! I'm a very busy girl, but sometimes it just feels good to fall asleep on Mommy after all that moving!

Week 24....Sitting, learning, teething, eating, and rolling!

This has been a fantastic week of growth and changes! As you can see, I am much more interested in the Care Bear. Oh yeah, GO CARDINALS!

I am working really hard on sitting up on my own. I don't topple forward anymore, but need a little help from falling backwards or to the sides.

If you will notice, my toys are getting more sophisticated. I like to play with blocks and toys that I can manipulate now. They also help me with my teething. (No teeth yet!)

But, Sadie is my favorite of all. I love to watch her move around the house!

Here I am with Daddy! He has to go back to work tomorrow, but we had such a great summer together! He finished his classes and passed his test, now all he needs to do is finish his internships and portfolios! Yea, Daddy!

I did like sweet potatoes! Mommy was so happy. I like to help feed myself. Bring on the applesauce!

The biggest change this week was that I learned to roll from my back to my tummy! We had a garage sale and Annie and Kenny came. They couldn't believe how much I had grown in just 2 months! Mommy told Annie that I was eating solids, trying to sit up, and rolling from tummy to back, but not the other way. Less than an hour later, I did it right before bedtime. Then, I did it again...and again. Here is a video of the second time I rolled! (Remember, it was right before bedtime-that's why it is dark!)

That same night, I thought it would be fun to keep getting out of my Swaddle Me, so now I am in sleep sacks at night. I woke Mommy and Daddy up when I rolled over that night when I got stuck in my crib. I like to move around a lot when I sleep!

All this moving and learning wears me out though!
