Week 41....What a crazy week!
Wow-I have so much to share this week! You had better be sitting for all of this! I thought it was going to be a nice fun vacation, but I ended up getting sick on Tuesday. I felt pretty bad most of Thanksgiving break and didn't want to eat. Mommy and Daddy were worried about me. I did my best though to be a happy girl when I visited my family. I got my 9 month and Christmas pictures taken on Wednesday and I tried to smile. We'll see how they turn out. We did some fun things though...you'll just have to see the pictures to believe it!
I got some good napping with Mommy over break!
Mommy wants to be just like me!
I love to tear, I mean, read paper!
Daddy showed me the pretty Christmas tree...just wait until they aren't looking!
Mommy held me and my older cousin-she said I wouldn't be getting a brother or sister for a while because we were too heavy!
Just me and Nana and Papa Frankenberg, oh, and puppy, of course!
What are we looking at Papa?
My early (and first!) Christmas gift. It was so cool! Nana and Papa read a story to me and recorded it in this book so they can "read" to me anytime I want!
Holding hands with my younger cousin! (That's my Uncle Mark in the background.)
If you say so, Grandma!
Don't you need a license to drive one of these?
I only use these to chew on these days-did I mention I now have FOUR teeth?
I tried to listen closely to what Great-Grandpa had to say.
Am I related to you?
I know adults do something like this with glasses-I just like how it feels!
My first tea party with my friends...
The weather was so nice in late November (at least that's what they tell me!)

40 Weeks....can you believe it?
It was a really great week. I had my 9 month check up and the doctor said I was doing great. I weighed 21 and a 1/4 pounds and am 29" tall! I did not even have to get any shots. YIPPEE! I think I have another tooth coming in too. This would make my bottom two teeth have two friends at the top! I am crawling all over the place and have even gone into the kitchen, hallway, my room, and mommy and daddy's room. They really have to keep an eye on me now. This coming week is Thanksgiving and I will get to see all of my grandparents and try something called turkey. I cannot wait!
I wonder when daddy will teach me how to shoot hoops?
I really love my pumpkin that Nana and Papa Frankenberg got me.
I really like banging my rings together to make noise.
Thanks to our friend Stacey, I can be like daddy now!
I'm coming to get you!
Mommy getting me ready for the day.
Me and my best pal mommy.
I can't break them so maybe my super powered saliva will destroy these bars!
Acting wild!

Week 39...Getting faster!
Hi everyone! I had a very interesting week. Daddy and I were on our own Sunday night through Tuesday. He did a great job even when I was not feeling well Monday night. These teeth are really bugging me. I have one new tooth coming in on the top and there is another one on its way. I got to spend some time with Nana Arden and Papa Rodney this weekend while mommy and daddy looked at cars. I guess the Mustang is on its way out?? I don't know why ;-) I have gotten adventurous at home now. I am crawling into the kitchen and yesterday I crawled all the way down the hallway and into mommy and daddy's room. I found all kinds of new places to hang out. I am getting really fast with my crawling...it keeps mommy and daddy on their toes! I get to go to the doctor this week for my 9 month check up. I can't believe I am that old and neither can my parents. I am looking forward to next week because there is this thing called Thanksgiving and I think mommy really loves this holiday (not as much as Easter though). I hope everyone has a great week and will check in again next Sunday!
Getting ready to make a crawl for it...can you see my sly grin?
Ellie and Mommy, both not happy with Daddy and his camera!
I really can stand on my own but I just let mommy think she is helping :-)
So, think you can catch me?
I love my mommy!
I'm not supposed to touch what daddy?
See, I told you I could stand!
Can't you tell that I look like my mommy too?
I like to knock things down!

Week 38...Sad and happy times
Whew, what a week. It was sad for two main reasons. First, we had to put Tiger down this week. She was a good cat and we all loved her. We will miss her a lot but we know she is playing with Sadie and Gunther. I am also sad because Mommy is at a conference this weekend and will even be gone until next Tuesday! I will miss her very much. It is a happy week because I learned how to crawl and I got to go down to the lake with daddy to stay with mommy for Saturday and Sunday. I enjoyed hanging out in the hotel room and sleeping in the same room with them. Daddy said I was much quieter than last time. Daddy and I will hang out together this week and we will be happy when mommy gets home. I am looking forward to having my family all back together again.
Saying goodbye to Tiger. I really loved her!
Mommy took me outside to play with leaves. I had soooo much fun.
Long lost monkey is back so now I have monkey and puppy together again!
This is how I woke up...mommy had to get a picture.
Me in the hotel room. Good thing daddy brought the football and basketball so I could practice! ;-)
I am not sure if I like avacados!
See how good I am at talking?

Week 37...I changed my mind!
OK, so I said I was going to skip crawling and go to walking, but I decided to learn to crawl this weekend! I don't go very far for very long because I don't have to-everything I need is pretty close. I think this is going to be a lot of fun, and I can get into a lot of trouble! Mommy and Daddy tried to get it on film, but I'm pretty sneaky. Daddy surprised Mommy on Friday night and took her on their first date since I have been around. That meant time with Nana Arden and Papa Rodney! Fun, fun! We also took a trip to Washington on Halloween to visit my other grandparents! (The batteries in the camera died after my costume pictures, so we didn't get any pictures at Papa Ron and Nana Carol's house.)
Here I am in my Halloween turkey get-up.
This is so humiliating!
Is Daddy going to be a turkey?
Chilling out with Grandpa.
I love to be held by Grandma!
Look-I can stand too!
This was after a walk with Mommy and Daddy while we were enjoying the brief visit from the sun. I got chilly and pulled the blanket up though.
Great things come in small packages!
What is Tiger going to do next?
Daddy and I love our time together!
Just me and puppy!
Daddy and me enjoying the view out the front door.
I love playing with Tiger. I am going to miss her. She won't be around anymore after Tuesday. :(
This was a lot of fun being pulling around in a box. I fit very well I think!

Week 36...Guess what I can do now...
I can now get into a sitting position when I am laying down! I am an even bigger fan of standing up. I think I will just skip that crawling thing everyone talks about. Walking looks a lot more fun! Mommy and Daddy moved my crib mattress down this weekend, just in case. I can also wave and say "Hi!" I learned that from an older girl at Annie's. I also learned that it feels funny when I shake my head no. Mommy and Daddy took me to storytelling at the library again. I am getting to be a regular and I know a lot of the songs. Mommy got off work early on Tuesday and I was so excited. We celebrated by me getting a flu shot. Wait, that wasn't supposed to happen! I was such a big girl though-it didn't hurt too bad. On Friday, Mommy took me to see GrandNana in her new place. I was a hit with all the people there! This Saturday, Daddy and Mommy took me to a nursery where we picked out a tree for our front yard. It was so muddy that we couldn't drive in our car, and we had to ride in a Gator! What an adventure!
Splish, splash I was taking a bath...(it really was on Saturday night!) I thought that song was better than "Tiny Bubbles!)
OK, where's the food?
I really love my puppy. I take most of my naps at home with him.
I just can't believe how bad the Tigers are playing. Are the Chiefs any better?
