Week 45....Christmas at last!

WOW! This thing called Christmas is AWESOME! I got so many good gifts but the best thing of all was to be able to see everyone. I got to see all my grandparents, cousins, uncles, aunts, and even great-grandparents, great-aunts and uncles as well as second cousins...it was great. I am a little sad though because daddy has to go away for a few days and mommy and me will be all alone. I think mommy is planning a trip to see some friends and family so that will be nice. I have 6 teeth now and I think some more are coming in. I am looking forward to relaxing with mommy and playing with all my toys! Thanks everyone for all of the things I got! I love you all. By the way, mommy and daddy cannot count, it is really week 45!

This Christmas stuff has me plum tuckered out!

Week 44...Beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Brrrrrr, it is getting cold outside and there is this white stuff on the ground that Mommy and Daddy call snow. Mommy is done with school so we will get a few days of hanging out together before Daddy is done with school. We are planning to see a lot of family this week so that will be fun. I have been exploring the house a lot and getting into all kinds of things. I don't know why Daddy does not want me touching the stuff under the TV, but he really seems concerned. I got a early Christmas present from Annie and Kenny and I really love it. It is so soft and cuddly. I also had my first kiss! I don't think daddy is happy about that. I am really looking forward to my first Christmas, it will be so much fun. Would turning this off upset Daddy? Ok, I promise I won't go any closer! Getting close to standing up on my own! I love my new animal! Brrrrr, it was cold in the house!
Just call me scooter!

Got a bib anyone?

Week 43...On my way to independence!

So many things have happened this week I don't know where to begin. I have finally mastered pulling up on just about everything. I especially love pulling up on mommy and daddy. I have started throwing just about everything I can get my hands on. I love crawling all around the kitchen and knocking over daddy's Diet Coke bottles. I turn 10 months old on Tuesday and neither mommy or daddy can believe how old I am getting to be. I learned what the Christmas tree is and now I can point to it when asked to. I love looking at the lights and ornaments on the tree. This Christmas thing seems to be pretty cool. "Uncle" Kevin came for a visit and we had fun even though the Chiefs lost! I really love to lay on my stuffed animals and hear mommy and daddy say, "Awwwww!"With Nana Arden retiring, I thought I would use her cup more often!Mommy and me in the kitchen saying hi to daddy.Do you think daddy loves me? I am soooo happy!

42 Weeks...Still sick!

Can you believe I am still sick? I had a really bad rash all over my back, but it is mostly gone now. I am not letting it get me down, though. I have been able to learn a few new tricks this week, like pulling up to a stand. I am also able to crawl over things, like mommy and daddy's legs. I went down to Tan Tar A again this weekend with mommy and daddy when mommy had another meeting. Daddy and I had lots of fun together, and I even repeated "dada" when he said it!
Mommy and Daddy put me in this Chiefs cheerleading outfit, but I don't think I cheered too well!Mommy and I played together a lot before bedtime. After a while though, I just wished she would stop talking!Daddy and me horsing around!

Week 41....What a crazy week!

Wow-I have so much to share this week! You had better be sitting for all of this! I thought it was going to be a nice fun vacation, but I ended up getting sick on Tuesday. I felt pretty bad most of Thanksgiving break and didn't want to eat. Mommy and Daddy were worried about me. I did my best though to be a happy girl when I visited my family. I got my 9 month and Christmas pictures taken on Wednesday and I tried to smile. We'll see how they turn out. We did some fun things though...you'll just have to see the pictures to believe it!I got some good napping with Mommy over break! Mommy wants to be just like me! I love to tear, I mean, read paper! Daddy showed me the pretty Christmas tree...just wait until they aren't looking!Mommy held me and my older cousin-she said I wouldn't be getting a brother or sister for a while because we were too heavy! Just me and Nana and Papa Frankenberg, oh, and puppy, of course! What are we looking at Papa? My early (and first!) Christmas gift. It was so cool! Nana and Papa read a story to me and recorded it in this book so they can "read" to me anytime I want! Holding hands with my younger cousin! (That's my Uncle Mark in the background.) If you say so, Grandma! Don't you need a license to drive one of these? I only use these to chew on these days-did I mention I now have FOUR teeth? I tried to listen closely to what Great-Grandpa had to say. Am I related to you? I know adults do something like this with glasses-I just like how it feels! My first tea party with my friends... The weather was so nice in late November (at least that's what they tell me!)
