4 1/4 Years...All Moved!

We moved!  It was really so much fun.  I had a lot of questions, but was excited to have my own room and playroom at the new house, plus we got to have a camp-out the last night in our old house!  I was the last one asleep.  I loved having friends over to play when everyone was moving our boxes to the new house.  We had a lot of help!  We are working on getting settled, and I really want my bedroom to be painted in rainbow colors.  I think I can convince mommy, but getting daddy on board might be a little harder.
I had my first field trip this month.  Our class walked to Culver's.  We got to walk in the freezer and refrigerator.  I have made a lot of growth this month as a learner too.  I know how to write my first and last name, and I found my "l's"!  I make sure I put my tongue up by my teeth when I say "El-lie!"  I also had mostly dry nights right before we moved, but that is hard in the new house.
I was excited to celebrate daddy's birthday, but he was sick.  That made me sad, so I ate ice cream for him that day!  We celebrated the next weekend at Nana Arden's.
My friend Carrie and I started the marathon for the summer.  We did 1.2 miles around the lake.  Only 21 more to go!  The next day, I came home with a sore neck and mommy said I had 101 fever.  She gave me some Tylenol for the ride to Grandma Kathy's and I was in a really good mood.  I had a bad night terror that night though.  I seemed a little better the next day when I stayed with Grandma Kathy while mommy had some time with Auntie Heather.  After that, we visited Nana Carol and Nana Arden for Mother's day.
This week at bedtime, I told mommy I had a secret.  "I love you.  Thank you for giving birth to me in the new world like this...TA DA!"
 Fancy tea party!

You got all my stuff, right?
They remembered to pack me too!
Last picture in our old house, in my old nursery.  The tree in the background was planted when I was born.  (It would have been taken outside, but it was raining on moving day.)

4 Years, 2 Months...Easter fun!

Believe it or not, we had another snow storm at the end of March!  Mommy and I went early to her hometown for some events since it was her spring break, and ended up getting stuck there!  We were able to dye Easter eggs with Grandma Kathy, and throw the dye out in the snow!  We also got to have lunch with Papa Ron for his birthday.  I had 5 Easter egg hunts this year-at my preschool, at a Church, at Papa Ron and Nana Carol's, at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's, and at Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's house!  I told mommy and daddy, "If the Easter Bunny ran out of places to hide the eggs, I will help him."  Papa Rick and Nana Peggy were also in town this month.  We had a lot of fun with them.  They came to visit us and we went out to eat a couple of times.  They gave me a guitar which I love to "rock out" on!
I told mommy, "I asked God and Jesus and heaven to make you my mommy."  I think I saw her heart melt!  I am now able to write my first and last name, and love learning my letters.  I was really happy to go back to school after Easter to see my friends.  I got my pictures taken at school too.  I saw a pirate movie with my friend Brynn.  We got a new roof on our house and went out for donuts that morning because it was too loud!
I also rode my bike for the first time.  I did pretty good, but was scared when it went too fast.  I tipped over and had my first bike "wreck", but survived!  No blood was shed!
I love to sing songs on the radio.  Here is my latest: "Bring me the cheek boys, bringing my sword, gonna get lost until I rock and roll."  That is "Drift Away" for those who weren't sure!

4 Years, 1 Month...Snow many exciting things!

This month was kind of strange.  We had 2 huge snow storms, each about 12 inches!  We got to have 4 snow days together.  It was a lot of fun, but we almost ran out of things to do!  I ended up getting sick at the end of those days with a slight fever and cough.  I didn't let it hold me down!
When I went back to pre-school, I got a little excited playing and started screaming really loud!  I got sent to time-out for not using my indoor voice.  The next weekend I had 2 play dates (and threw fits at both of them!)  I went to a Mizzou gymnastics meet with mommy and Carrie and Carrie's mommy.  The next day, I went to see Ice Age 4 with mommy and Brynn and Brynn's mommy.  Now, I like to pretend that I am a gymnast named Maddie and do floor routines in our living room.  Daddy is the "conductor" and mommy is the fan who has to yell, "Maddie!", but Maddie ignores her.  I also got to go to McTeacher Night for mommy's school and then to the Sock Hop at mommy's school.  At first I didn't want to wear a poodle skirt, because I wanted to wear a "horsie skirt", but then I thought it was cool.  I loved doing the limbo!  I was really into St. Patrick's Day and wanted to catch a leprechaun.  I set 5 traps, but didn't catch one.  He did get into all the shiny treasures and knocked them over, and even peed green in my toilet, but I never got to see him.  Oh yeah, mommy and daddy told me that we sold our house and are moving into a new one with a basement!  I really liked it and can't wait to have more room to play!
When it snows like this...
