4 5/6 Years...So much to be thankful for

It was a busy month with Thanksgiving.  I got to see so many family members!  We had our preschool feast the day before Thanksgiving.   We had another Thanksgiving at Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's.  Afterward, we went to Santa's Magical Kingdom to see a lot of pretty Christmas lights.  On Friday, we went to Nana Carol's and Papa Ron's for Thanksgiving.  After that, we went to the Christmas parade.  That Sunday, we went to Aunt Lisa's for desserts.  I got to play with my cousins and watch a movie with them.  I got to help decorate the house for Christmas, and visited Santa too!
We also did a lot of shopping for other people including Babies R Us for my baby sister, and I was very patient everywhere we went.  Our ELF showed up too!  I named him Elmo, and he moves every night to tell Santa how I have been.  However, I had a hard time that first week with my behavior.  I was even Star of the Week at school that week!  I got in trouble for lying twice to daddy and my teacher and brown puppy was taken away for two nights.  That didn't stop me though.  I lied again the next day at school!  Mommy and Daddy were really disappointed in me.  I was just trying to get out of trouble, but they told me that I wasn't even in big trouble with the things I did, but now I was in double trouble!   Later that night, they noticed that I had 100 degree fever.  That always seems to happen right after I get in trouble.  I told them I thought I got a fever because I lied.  Good thing I had a better week this past week!  St. Nicholas wasn't allowed to come until I had a good week.
Funny things I said this month: "I've got it taken care of mommy."  In the car on the way home, "I don't know about you mommy, but I'm taking a nap!"  "My brain hurts" when I had a headache with my fever.  I also had a bed dream this month about a really big bird who was eating kids.

4 3/4 Years...I'm all about the princesses!

Papa Rick and Nana Peggy came into town to visit this month.  Some of my cousins came over and we played, and we went over there and got to watch Epic together.  I remembered a lot of the lines from when I watched it before.
We went to the Mizzou homecoming parade and it was so much fun!  Corinne and her mommy came over to us to visit too.  I got tons of candy too-just what I love!
Warming up for the parade to start
I got to see Miss Delaney.  I really missed her!
We carved a pumpkin and painted another one with glitter.  I loved that!

Power tools are a necessity

I really love my princesses!  Halloween was so awesome!  I was Ariel, and got to wear a wig!  When we couldn't find the wig at first, I told mommy and daddy that I would just be Rapunzel.  Mommy told me that I didn't need a wig then because my hair was so long like hers.  I hesitated and said, "I want the wig!"  I totally admired myself in the mirror with that red wig and costume on.
Possible Halloween costume?
We had a really fun party at pre-school that day.  Unfortunately, it was raining that day and we couldn't do our traditional Halloween parade outside.  I was thrilled to party with my friends though!
We went  Miss Annie and Mr. Kenny's and saw Corinne...
And then went trick-or-treating that night.
Mommy left for a conference for a few days and I got to hang out with daddy.  We overslept the first morning she was gone!  I did lots of coloring and crafts while she was gone.
I went to Trey's birthday party at Flipz and Brynn's birthday party at Bonkers this month too.

I've said some really funny things this month too.  I noticed a princess Barbie had make-up on and said she had "purple eye stick" instead of eye shadow.  I told mommy that I wanted to watch the baby being born and explained that the doctor would put "sleepy medicine" on my tummy and do the things I don't want him to do, and then he will wipe it off with water and the baby will be born.  I was in the bathroom for a while and when mommy asked me what I was doing, I said, "Nothing that you need to be worried about!"
We got family pictures taken this month and mommy curled my hair.

I also learned how to do front walk-overs (some of the time!)

4 Years, 8 Months...It's a Girl!!!

I finally found out!  I am going to have a baby sister!  The baby was playing peek a boo with me, giving me the I love you symbol, and blew kisses at me.  I did them all back!  The ultrasound person told me first, and I got to tell mommy and daddy it was a girl!  Right after that, she stuck her tongue out at me, so I had to return the favor!  The first thing I said was, "And I thought it was going to be a boy!"  I got my own ultrasound picture and was so proud to show it off and tell everyone about it.  My original name for the baby was "Tree Head", but then I decided Rachel would be a good name for a girl and Avery for a boy.  Another girl name I like is Elizabeth.  Mommy and daddy said they were good names, but they are going to name the baby and keep it a surprise until she gets here.
We did a lot of fun things this month too.  I went to South Farm with Carrie and we had a lot of fun.  We got to see lots of animals and I got to listen to some good music.  I got another rainbow painted on my face too!

I also went to the movies with Brynn and saw Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs.  We had the Walnut Street Day School pot luck too.  I talked about it all week, and when it was over I was really sad it was going to be my last one.  I went with daddy to get his car serviced and he let me have not one, but two containers of ice cream for breakfast!
I then went on errands with mommy, and we got to see Marion's new baby girl, Autumn.  I kept complaining that I was cold and was crying there.  It turns out that I had 102.2 fever that night!  We had to skip Catherine's birthday party.  In October, we went apple picking with Auntie Heather and family.  It rained on us, but was a lot of fun to play later with Ashley and Ian.

We got to go to the toy store and make my Christmas list.  I am doing a good job of asking if we can put things on my list instead of saying "I want" all the time.  I got my hair cut and we had a really fun family gathering with mommy's cousins!
I said some really sweet things this month.  After singing to the baby, the baby kicked.  I said, "I'm so happy the baby kicked.  I just have tears.  I am crying.  Good golly, I just can't stop!"  I also said that I want to have a brother so we can get married when we are older.  Later that week when mommy picked me up from school, I said, "I love that my teachers love me so much.  I am joyful!"
I also said some really funny things this month.  I keep getting "recognize" and "realize" mixed up.  I said, "I just recognized something.  On my necklace, Jesus is just hanging there on the cross."  I was trying to go to sleep one night and shouted out to mommy and daddy in the living room, "I can't sleep!  You're making all that racket!"  I also told mommy, "I just got a text from a friend.  She texted a picture on Facebook."  I also said that a character in a book at "purple eyestick (eye shadow) on."
I sure do love my daddy!
