7 Years, 2 Months...busy, spring month!

This has been a very busy month!  At school, we went on a field trip to the planetarium.
I also had some problems with my friends.  Ella told me that she and Gabe have a crush on each other.  I was so hurt, not because I have a crush on him, but because I felt like they were keeping a secret from me and lying to me.  I told the secret to Gabe and some other kids and hurt his feelings.  That was an awful day!  I was pretty crabby at home during that time.  I'm so glad I got to talk to him and work things out!
I got to do a Girl Scout cookie booth with Mommy one cold day.  It was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to doing more of that next year!
Papa Rick and Nana Peggy came for a visit around Easter.  Papa Rick came out first and I love playing with him!  Then, we hung out with both of them when Nana Peggy came.
Emily and I got to go to Bass Pro to visit the Easter bunny.  Emily was not happy at all, even though I got to hold her during the picture.  Later that night, we had our school music concert.  We sang 7 songs, including "Eat Apples and Bananas", "I am a Pizza", and my favorite, "Just One Candle".  I wasn't nervous at all and was so excited!
We had a very busy Easter!  We went to Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's at 8:00, then to Washington for Papa Ron and Nana Carol's, and then to Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom's before heading home that night.  Good thing that was the start of spring break!  Easter was really fun, except it got really rainy and cold during the last egg hunt.  I really enjoyed seeing all my cousins too!
We had a family day the next day before Daddy had to go back to work.  We went to the Humane Society and even filled out an application for Second Chance.  One step closer to getting a dog!
We got to visit Mr. Kenny the next day of spring break and headed to St. Louis and Washington.  First, we delivered some Girl Scout cookies to Mom's friend Jan (who had 2 Pomeranians) and then we visited Papa Ron at his office for his birthday.  We let him choose where to eat, and he chose McDonald's.  For real, he picked it!  He wanted Emily to be able to go down the slide (which she only did once!) and I loved the food of course.  We got to hang out with him in his office before going to Washington.  He let me have a calendar and I colored all the squares.  We had a lot of fun drawing pictures of people in their birthday squares!
In Washington, we went to the Riverfront and threw rocks in the river.  We also got Orange Leaf and brought home Papa Murphy's pizza.  Great Grandma Rose joined us that night.  We got our hair cut before heading home.  I spent the night with Nana Arden the next night.
I am starting to have soccer games now too.  Our team has improved quite a bit since the fall!  I even scored the first goal in one of the games!  That was the game we played against Gabe.  Mommy noticed that I played a little harder during that game!
We have been having more Leader in Me groups that Mom leads with the 1st graders after school on Mondays.  Emily and I went with Mommy to vote one day too.  She has been having a lot of after school meetings and other events, so Nana Arden has come over a few times to stay with us.  Auntie Heather came for a visit too!
Finally, we had a Sock Hop dance and silent auction/raffle.  I had so much fun!  I won the limbo contest and also won the date with Miss Schooler to Bonkers!
