I'm 2!!!! And boy, can Mommy and Daddy tell! I've been just a little challenging lately (running away, defiant, shouting "NO", demanding)! I had my Elmo birthday party on February 20th and had so much fun! I got lots of good presents and loved having so many people around. The next day, I had my 2 year check-up, got my 2 year pictures taken, and checked out another pre-school! Can we say "growing up?" I wonder where I will go next year. Later that week, I got a yucky cough and "burped on the green ones" (threw up on my green sheets at night.) I had a low grade fever too. Luckily the next day, we got a surprise snow day together! Mommy took me to meet Ashley's new little brother Ian that weekend, and also to Grandpa Tom's 70th birthday party! It was a lot of fun playing with all my cousins. Ashley also gave me some of her clothes and I love them-she has good taste in fashion! The next week, I started to have some pain in my hips especially during diaper changes at Annie and Kenny's, but it went away. When it came back last week, Mommy took me to the doctor. He said I had toxic synovitis from the virus I had the week before and that it would go away-thank goodness! Just recently, I decided to take off my pants, shoes, and socks while I was supposed to be napping at Annie's! I have also been pooping in the potty chair and getting special stickers! The last time, I yelled, "That looks like a big hot dog!" I was just making an observation, but Mommy and Daddy thought it was really funny! This past weekend, we turned my car seat around in Mommy's car. Now I can tell her when the lights turn green all the time! I also got to spend some time with Nana Arden while Mommy and Daddy went to dinner for their anniversary. It sure has been a busy month!

2 Years Old!

I'm 2!!! I have had so much fun with the blizzard that rocked our world and gave us lots of snow days together! I discovered that I love watching Curious George! I am also eating at the big girl table without a tray. Another thing that I love to do is look for toe jam. Mommy thinks it is silly, but I take it very seriously! I have also been talking about the "swimming poom" a lot lately. I got a little cold and slight fever recently, but they seem to be getting better. Nana Carol and Papa Ron came to celebrate my birthday last weekend, and my big party is coming up this Sunday! I can't wait for the Elmo cake!

23 1/2 Months...Last post as a one year old!

I have had a lot of fun lately! I have had a couple of snow days with mommy and daddy. We got to play in the snow and even make a snowman (Crusty)! Mommy and Daddy took me to see my cousin's basketball game. I was really quiet and sat on Mommy's lap for the first half, but I had so much fun cheering during the second half! Daddy's happy that I like the sport! Mommy took me to a party (baby shower) and I thought it was going to be my birthday party until she told me that wasn't for a little while. I had so much fun there playing with the other kids. Everyone commented on how tall I was! Mommy also took me to see Great-Grandma Rose and Great-Grandpa Willie. It took me a while to warm up to them, but boy oh boy, they were happy to see me since I missed them at Christmas! I love to sing and dance lately, especially to "Five Little Monkeys". I know my letters "B", "E", and "O". Mommy and I were putting an alphabet puzzle together and I handed her the letter "B" and said "B". She just took it and said "ball". It took her a second to realize that I knew what the letter was! I constantly surprise everyone! Making "Crusty" the snowMAN!Snowman building (ignore the anatomy!)
