3 3/4 Years Old...Lots to be Thankful for

This has been a great month for family!  I got to visit all of my family over Thanksgiving and it was wonderful!  I have gone to a couple of basketball games for my daddy's school and it was really cool cheering his team on!  We had our family pictures taken and I was a total ham for the camera!
I am really getting into the Christmas spirit.  I love to sing "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer", "Frosty the Snowman", and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town."  I also helped put up the Christmas tree and Christmas lights outside.  That was really neat!  I got to see Santa at an early Christmas gathering.  I was so surprised when he knocked on the door!  I told him that I wanted Shutterfly,Shining Armor, Princess Cadence, and Nightmare Moon.  I cried later when I realized I forgot to tell him that I want a My Little Pony castle!  Good thing I got another chance, because mommy and daddy brought me to Bass Pro to see him again!  I actually got Fluttershy already from St. Nicholas!  I said, "I knew I should quit sucking my thumb" when I got him because that's what I was supposed to do to get the My Little Pony's.
I have had a couple of play dates with Carrie too.  She is a lot of fun.  I went to the library a couple of times and really enjoyed playing with the doll house there.  Mommy left for a meeting one weekend and I got to hang out with daddy.  I've said some really funny things this month too.  I keep saying, "I'm not 3 and a half anymore.  I'm three and three quarters!"  I told daddy, "I don't like smelly trees.  I want a tree that smells like birthday cake!"  I whispered to mommy, "Don't tell anyone-it's a secret: I love you!"  I was also sent home from pre-school with a fever (which I didn't have-malfunctioning thermometer!)  Mommy said that I was eating like a horse, to which I replied, "Neigh, neigh, neigh!"
On December 14th, mommy came home and hugged me tighter than she usually does.  I could tell that something sad happened, but I also could tell how happy she is that I am in her life.  Daddy was glad to see me the next day too.

3 3/4 years old...Parties, parties, and more parties!

I will be the first to tell you that I am not 3 1/2 anymore...I am 3 and...something!  This has been a really fun month for me.  I had a lot of play dates with Carrie and I went to Brynn and Trey's birthday parties.  Daddy took me to Brynn's because Mommy was out of town for a while.  I had a lot of fun with Daddy.  He is really good to me.  We also went to a pumpkin patch with Auntie Heather, Uncle Sean, Ashley and Ian.  I got to go on a hayride and took everyone through a corn maze.  Ashley and I kept saying, "dead end!"  I also playing in a huge tub of corn kernels and they got everywhere, even in my underwear!
Halloween was this month too!  I chose to be Cheer Bear!  I loved my costume.  Mommy left it at school for them to change me into before our party, but my teachers left it downstairs.  Everyone was dressed up but me and I was really sad for a long time.  Mommy brought it up just in time.  I enjoyed the parade after the party and went through the haunted house they made.  Daddy had to go back to work after the party, but Mommy took me trick-or-treating.  We went to Nana Arden's, Miss Annie and Mr. Kenny's, and around the neighborhood.
I get really tired at pre-school.  One night, Mommy found me asleep in my room at 6:45 with the lights on!  I was really bossy and crabby one weekend and into the next week.  Mommy picked me up one day and I was sobbing.  I said, "I just can't stop crying!"  The teachers thought I was being overly dramatic, but I had a fever!  I spent the next day snuggling with Nana Arden.  We also went over to Nana Arden's a couple nights because Aunt Michelle was in town.  She is so much fun!  We played Play Doh together.
I've said some funny things too.  I asked Mommy, "What do you have to say for yourself?"  I told Daddy, "I don't like smelly (Christmas) trees.  I want one that smells like birthday cake!"  I also asked, "Will we move when I am Star of the Week?"  (Some kids had left pre-school, so they got to be Star of the Week before they moved.)
See, I'm 3 3/4!

3 Years, 8 Months...Loving pre-school again!

I have really started to love pre-school again.  I always ask when I can go back to play with my friends.  I've grown up a lot this month-I can pump my legs when swinging, I try to cut my own food with my fork, I try to solve problems with friends.  However, after complaining about my friend being bossy and running away from me, I bit her.  Now, I try to tell friends how I feel, play with other friends, and get adult help.  I even said, "I think Brynn is angry and a play date would cheer her up."  I have changed who my friends are a little.  Other things we have done this month: got doughnuts for breakfast after reading a Donut book, went to Family Fun Night at mommy's school, went to the park and ran around a high school track, went to the pot luck dinner at my pre-school, went to a softball game for daddy's school (and watched daddy change mommy's flat tire),went to a couple birthday parties and a baby shower, went to the corn maze (and kept wanting to turn right), and went to my first movie in a theater!  I loved The Lorax and was very quiet and patient and ate all the popcorn.  Nana Arden picked me up one day and helped me start a "co-weck-shun" (collection of rocks and marbles).  I wanted mommy to spell "hippomapatamus" for me.  I have been obsessed with "crocodiles" on the tile and I want everyone to walk on the rugs.  Daddy has been gone a lot with work and that is hard.  I really miss him.  He did take me to get my flu shot and I did great, with only one tear.  I'm glad I got stickers and ice cream after.  He took me on another daddy-daughter date to McDonald's this week when mommy was gone.
I adore my cousin Jacob!
