4 Years, 5 Months...Summer Fun!

We've been doing so many things this summer!  On the second last night of swimming lessons, I decided to put my face in the water.  I loved it so much, my teacher couldn't get me to stop!  Needless to say, I passed and will start the next level next month.  I decided I didn't want to continue with gymnastics because I was scared to flip on the high bar.  We had several visitors-Jill and Crosley, the Kosher family, and Lillian and Grayson.  Too bad we were having too much fun that mommy forgot to take pictures!  I went to Aunt Mary and Uncle Duane's house and got to pet horses and ride a 4-wheeler.  Next time, I get to ride the horses!  We also went to mommy's cousin's get together and had so much fun!  I got to show off my swimming skills and I got to drive a mini car, right into the woods!  We also went to a couple of baby showers.
I also visited the dentist's office for the second time and I was a great patient.  I got to get something out of the prize drawer!  I got brave and climbed the fence to our garden.  When I was getting out, I slipped and fell backward in the garden.  I hit my head really hard on the wood beams, and scratched up my wrist and knee pretty bad.  I fell on the concrete during a walk the next day!  Mommy and Daddy took me to Bonkers and I had fun playing the games and did some climbing there.  We went to Nana Arden's for the 4th of July, and then got to see lots of fireworks right outside our house!
The next week, we took a trip to Arkansas and visited mommy's friend Stacey (and Ryan and Jaxson and baby Harrison) and daddy's Aunt Marge and Uncle Dave.  I had so much fun with Jaxson.  We became instant friends!  We got to swim in the lake at Aunt Marge and Uncle Dave's house.  I even jumped off the dock once, but got water up my nose.  Then, Papa Ron and Nana Carol came to celebrate mommy's birthday.
A couple of funny things I have said, "I am looking for toasters on the tree." (Toasters=dried up sap).  "Can I have one of those Punch Canadians?", asking for a Hawaiian Punch popsicle.  Can't wait to tell you about next month!

4 Years, 4 Months...Lots of new stuff!

I really wanted to stay up later this month, as the days got longer.  There is just so much to do!  Unfortunately, I woke up with a "spicy" throat and fever the day before my first Cardinals game.  I felt better that day though.  Daddy's school was going to play after the Cardinals, so it was a long day.  The Cardinals won, and so did North Callaway!  I got to run the bases on the field after the game.  That was so cool, and all the adults kept telling me they were jealous that they didn't get to do it!  I ended up having a fever the next two days though-bummer!  Later in the week, my class went on a class picnic.  I got to hang out with my friends, and flew a kite for the first time!  It was a lot of fun, and Mommy got to make it for a little bit.  Before she left, I told her it was the best day ever!  When Mommy  picked me up that night, the teachers told her that my eye was itching and watering and red.  You guessed it-pink eye!  We went to Urgent Care and I got drops for it.  I was such a trooper with putting the drops in!  I laid down, closed my eye, and blinked when they told me to.  Easy-peasy!  Good thing, because I ended up getting pink eye in the other eye!
I was so excited on the day of my graduation!   Miss Jodi told Mommy that I was jumping around all morning, just beside myself with excitement!  All of my grandparents came down, and I got to have a party at our new house!  It rained really hard that day and night so graduation and the party had to be inside.  I was really sad to leave Miss Sam and Miss Jodi's class, and nervous that I wouldn't know what to do in the 4s and 5s class.  I am starting there a few days a week, and getting used to it.  My class went swimming one day and I had a lot of fun.  We will go a few more times this summer.  The other days, Mommy and I have fun!  We get to do lots of different things.  I started the Summer Reading program at the library, and am half way finished with it!  I also ran 3 miles on the track one day with Carrie!  We also played tennis and went to the park that day.  I started gymnastics lessons at Flipz.  I really like the balance beam, but am scared of the bars.  I also just finished my second week of swimming lessons.  I am repeating the class from last year.  I am scared to put my face in the water and jump in the water.  I don't really like floating on my back either, which I was really good at last year.
One day, Mommy asked me how I got to have such a good memory.  I replied, "I don't know.  Maybe God just made me that way!"  I have been obsessed about bugs and ticks lately.  I keep talking about them, and was really excited to follow around the "bug guy" who came to spray our house.  I am also obsessed with hail.  We have had so many hail storms the past two months, that I think hail will damage everyone's house!  I even draw hail when I draw a house!
Finally, I got to have a play date with my friend Dutch.  He moved on to kindergarten and isn't at my preschool anymore.  I call him my boyfriend, but I share him with Brynn.  Dutch and I had a lot of fun playing in the water.  I can't wait to see him again!
