10 Years, 8 Months...Booked social life!

I have been continuing with piano and I do think I want to quit for now, although I feel really bad about it.  Mrs. Renwick is very understanding and thinks it is a good idea to take a break now in case I will be interested in taking band and orchestra in middle school.  I do love choir and will continue that, including Honor's Choir.  I am also in the play at EEE and have two larger roles-the Villain and Hot Mess.  This past week, Mrs. Rohrs was really impressed with my memorization of the lines, my volume, and my expression.
I woke up with headache and fever in the middle of the night about a week after my last fever. The temperature was taken in the ear that I was laying on though.  When I got up, I assumed I was going to school and Mom told me that I couldn't.  I begged to go!  I was so upset because it was the day of student council elections, and I was running for secretary.  Mom had to ask, and the principals let me come to school because I didn't have a fever when I woke up.  I gave my speech and was elected secretary!
I stayed home one evening when Daddy took Emily to her literacy night at school and Mom was at a meeting.  I am starting to really like that time, and spend most of it either reading or playing Minecraft on my school iPad.
I was invited to Keri's birthday party and begged to go.  She was having it at her grandma's and it was a Stranger Things theme and sleepover.  I was told that if my behavior afterwards was unpleasant, I would not be going to any other sleepovers for a long time.  I was so happy to get to go, especially since my friend MacKenzie from kindergarten and Fine Arts this summer was there!  I went to Emily's soccer game the next day (and read in the car) and then went to Lila's birthday party sleepover!  What a busy weekend!  I was so tired, I took a 4 hour nap (and made sure I was super pleasant the next day!
I was also able to go to my new friend Addison's birthday party at Pottery Island and Shakespeare's Pizza and then had an impromptu sleepover with Hayden at Lila's again!  The next day, Mom took Emily and me and Cami to South Farm.  It was so good to see Cami again.  She told me a little about middle school (which I really haven't given much thought to!)  We did the corn maze twice, Cami really enjoyed the animals, and I even milked a cow!  After a shower, I went to Madelyn's for a sleepover.  The next day, I was able to another MU volleyball game before going to Catherine's birthday party.
Would you believe the next weekend, Lila spent the night at our house?  Shocking, isn't it?  We also went to another MU volleyball game, and I got to sit near Ali while Lila was ballgirl.  The next game I went to, I was asked if I could be ballgirl because they were short one!  I was thrilled and didn't hesitate!  Papa Ron said he saw me on TV!
We went looking for Halloween costumes, but I wasn't sure if I even wanted to go or dress up.  Lila is going with some other friends as the cast of Hamilton and said I could dress up as a French soldier, but I don't really want to do that.  I finally decided after telling my new favorite volleyball player about dressing up as Ali, that I am going to dress up as Tyanna!  She is going to be so surprised!
Our family went to the MU homecoming parade and sat next to Lila's family.  There was a cutest golden retriever there and I begged again unsuccessfully for one!  After the parade, we met Grandma Kathy and Grandpa Tom at an apple orchard and picked apples.  Then, we got to spend the night at their house!  It has been such a long time!  The next morning, Mom took Emily and me clothes shopping in Washington, then to Orange Leaf (none in Columbia anymore), and then over to Papa Ron's for a visit and some Kings in the Corner before heading home.  We celebrated Papa Rodney's 70th birthday with a BBQ at Aunt Lisa's that night.
I came back to school yesterday from EEE and found out that I had to get a flu shot.  I did OK going down the hall and waiting in line, but when I saw the needles and equipment, I had a full on panic attack.  I was hyperventilating, sweated through my shirt, tried to hit the person giving the shot, and screaming.  I wanted to be knocked out for them to give it to me.  Several staff members tried to help, including Miss Kendra.  They ended up calling Mom and it took her and two other adults holding me down to get it done (with lots of screaming and tears.)  I saw Emily coming down the hall, talking about how brave she was when she got her shot.  Afterward, I did not remember Mom even being there and most of the event.  Lila stayed there patiently with me the whole time.
We have done a few other things this month too.  We had picture day at school.  Dad took me to a volleyball game at Hallsville.  I had a lot of fun with Papa Rodney at one of Emily's soccer games.  Mom and I went through my closet and found out I outgrew most of my clothes (hence the aforementioned clothes shopping.)  We also went and got my new volleyball shoes!  Mom and I went to the Smoky Mountains trip meeting to find out what we need to bring.  I am so excited to go!!!
