19 Weeks...a week full of adventures!

This past week was full of adventures for me, mommy and daddy. We took several trips and I had my first adventure in a swimming pool. I also got to see Crosley, Jill's doggy. Crosley is a therapy dog at Jill's school. He was very cute, but not as cute as Sadie. We took several trips to Wal-Mart, Target, and Toys R Us to look for swimming suits. I also got to sit in my new bumbo for the first time. On Sunday we visited my godparents and hung out there for the day. Mommy and I went over to Aunt Lisa's and I got to see all my cousins. Tomorrow I think I get to eat some rice cereal. Both mommy and daddy are nervous about it, but I think it will be yummy! Me sleeping with Mr. Monkey! My bitter beer face. I don't really drink beer but do like to make this face. Me and Crosley. Me and my bumbo, the first of many wonderful times together. I am going to get Tiger one of these days! My new hat for Papa Ron's and Nana Carol's pool trip. Mommy and me before getting into the pool for the very first time. Ummmm, it is ok to pee in the water...right? Ahhhhhh, teething relief! 18 Weeks...Teething STINKS!

Hi everyone. What a week. I got 4 shots last Monday during my doctors visit. Mommy and Daddy say that doctors take care of you but I am not so sure about that. I am now 25.5 inches tall, I weigh 16lbs 4oz and am overall very healthy. Oh yeah, the doctor told me that my teeth are coming...DUH...did they not see me drooling for the past two weeks? I got to spend some time with Nana Arden and Papa Rodney this week and it was fun. I was up several times the past few nights because my teeth are hurting me but mommy and daddy took care of me. I really love trees, I love to chew on anything, and I am really wanting to sit up and play now. I think mommy and daddy have started saving for my college but just in case they want me to be as smart as possible, so they both read to me every day! Look out scholarships! Daddy finally figured out how to put the Bjorn on himself and to take me for walks around the house. I have never really been up this high before. Mr. Monkey keeps me entertained a lot! Thanks Uncle Kevin! Daddy had to tap out after trying to wrestle with me! Just grab them by the nose and they go down! I know that Daddy really loves me! We learned this trick from Nana Arden. I like it when mommy puts me on my tummy on her legs. It is fun! Here is my new look....like it?

17 Weeks and still not 4 months old, go figure!

It has been a really good week at home with Mommy and Daddy. Daddy got to take care of me all day on Wednesday. He was nervous but he did a great job. He only pinched me once in the swing! Mommy took me to Fulton on Saturday to see some of her friends and they all loved me. All week long I have been practicing talking very loudly and sucking on my fingers. Mommy is also rolling me over to my tummy so I can try to work on rolling myself back. It is a lot of fun. We have taken several walks, which always put me to sleep and I even got to go to Sams! I am now getting baths twice a week, does that mean I am really that dirty? I am a little nervous about Monday though because I have my doctor's appointment which means more shots! YEOUCH! Wish me luck! Here I am in my jumper contraption. I am not quite big enough as you can see from the next picture. I do think I like it though! Daddy was so proud of me because I finally am able to hold a basketball! Look out Lakers! Mommy is reading to me...I love to listen and look at the books. My parents finally figured out the Bjorn and how to turn me facing the front! Geez, parents these day! Here I am in my crazy pants! I love them, but not as much as Mommy, she wants a pair too! Here I am sleeping after one of our walks. I was nice and cozy! Mommy took this one to prove that I can suck on my own fingers..mmmm, they taste good! 16 Weeks and I'm home for the summer!

Yea! I'm home with mommy and daddy now! Life couldn't be better. My favorite things to do this week are to play with my small blankies, try to lift my head (and put myself in dangerous positions!), and talk to anyone who will listen (and even those who won't!)

Week 15, Holy Cow I am Almost 4 Month's Old!

Last week I learned to laugh and this week I found my voice. I have been squealing and talking at everyone. I like to talk a lot! Mommy and Daddy have been trying to get me used to sleeping in the crib. I am working at it but still have a ways to go. This week is my last at the sitters. I actually only have two days left and then I am home for the summer with Mommy and Daddy. I wonder if they will be this excited about me being home for summer when I go to college?? I have also been getting used to sleeping in on weekends...I am dreaming about being a teenager!

Here I am with Daddy, he is educating me...again! I think I can get to Tiger...if I could only crawl. Mommy is encouraging me to always keep my head up! I really do love this outfit! Daddy is always there to give me a helping hand! Me and my favorite blankey! I am sooooo happy in the morning!

14 Weeks on the planet!

Happy Memorial Day! Wow! This has been such a busy week for me! Daddy was at work on Thursday and Friday nights, so mommy and I had two "Girls' Nights!" We watched the Cardinals sweep the Cubs and then start up on the Royals. Too bad no one was around to get a picture of us in our Cardinals gear. It was a lot of fun. I was so glad when daddy got back though. Look at how much I am like daddy! I thought it was going to be a quiet 3 day weekend at home, but we had so many visitors! That was great! On Saturday, my great grandma and great grandpa came for a visit with grandma Kathy and grandpa Tom. Great grandpa was sooo excited to see me. Great grandma thought I was cute too, and loved my toes. I just love it when Grandma Kathy is around! Maybe Grandpa Tom will get to hold me at the next visit! After they left, Nana Arden came with Grand-nana and Great Aunt Michelle. I started giggling when Nana Arden played with my feet! She is funny!
On Sunday, Papa Ron and Nana Carol came for a visit. Nana Carol played Patty-Cake with me and I laughed so hard!
Papa Ron tried too, but it wasn't as funny. Later Sunday, we went to Nana Arden and Papa Rodney's house for a BBQ, and then to a restaurant for a going away party for daddy's co-worker. I am looking forward to a relaxing Monday off. Only 6 more days and I am home for the summer!

Week 13...it was not unlucky!

I turned 13 weeks old this week and was 3 months old, officially, on May 15th! I also rolled over to my side for the very fist time. Mommy and daddy were shocked. I have not done it since, but I am saving that trick for a special occassion. I was very happy to have my 13 week picture taken, especially in the outfit that Grandma Kathy got me! Me and mommy taking a much deserved nap after she planted all the flowers outside and I peed on the floor when daddy was trying to change me! Phooey on tummy time, all I need is my fingers and a blanket and I am in dream land. Me and my new friend...oh yeah, can you see my bubble? Getting ready for a Cardinal's game with Daddy.
