19 1/2 Months...Still learning!
Mommy and daddy have been working a lot lately, and I love spending time at my baby-sitter's! I am learning so much there, and mommy and daddy are surprised when I say or do new things. I can say "rainbow", "sweeping floor", "suggle" (snuggle), "pumpkin", "cimmamon" (cinnamon), "why-bra-e" (library), "jemmy-mean" (jelly bean), "boots", "exercising", "touchdown", "Nike swish", "lid", "ew-a fat" (elephant), and "Pe-ce-a" (Pricilla). I also like to say, "Peek a boo, I see you!" I did learn something the hard way though. I started biting the boy at the baby-sitter's. Mommy and daddy were not happy, and I got a couple time outs. I decided to stop biting after 2 times. I got to go to Family Fun Night at mommy's work one night, and the library to see Pricilla the elephant another night. Inspecting the caterpillar

19 Months...Putting it all together
I have learned a lot the past couple of weeks. I can say some big words too! Some of them are "cal-ca-tain-er" (calculator) and "cackertaer" (caterpillar). I know that they go into a "coon" (cocoon) and come out as a "bu-er-fy" (butterfly). I also say "bless you" after someone sneezes. I love to sing a lot and can say words in some songs, like Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and The Wheels on the Bus. I say "ABCD" to get mommy and daddy to play the alphabet song on the stereo. I'm still working on this potty training thing. It's hard work! I got up off the potty at Annie's and peed all over her floor one day! Even though she wasn't mad, I made sure I told her "sorry" later that day. We had Auntie Heather, Uncle Sean, and Ashley over one day and we got to play at the park. I went down a big slide all by myself! I also got to see a lot of cousins too.
This girl loves vacuuming!
See Ashley, the wheels on the bus go round and round...
Ashley wanted me to sit on her lap, but I was not digging it!
Time to get me a real pillow
Zzzzz....
Ready for a luau!
Helping daddy with the wheelbarrow
Playing in the water one last time
Really, mommy?

18 1/2 Months...Back to the grind stone
Mommy went back to work this week, so I got to go back to Annie and Kenny's! I love it there! There is a boy who is 3 months older than me and his 5 month old brother there. I have already learned so much! I have pottied in the potty many times, and even went poo poo once! I have gotten better at coloring too! I went to Nana and Papa house to go swimming last weekend. I had a lot of fun-check out the pictures! After that, I went to 2 birthday parties! I can now say: "happy bi-day", "bench", "raining", "elbow", "messy", "helicopter", "motorcycle", and "I pulling it!" I said that when I was playing tug-of-war with a cloth diaper. I love to go on walks with mommy and look for animals, the moon, busses, and the occasional hot air balloon. I know that they come "down" so that the "people" can get "out". I also know that "kids" get on the "bus" to go to "school" to "learn". Daddy and mommy work in a school. I'm so smart! Putting the "kids" on the "bus" so they can go to "school" to "learn"
Are you open, daddy?
Getting ready for a ride in my bean bag-if you look closely, you can see my boo boos-one on my knee and the other on my hand

18 Months...Happy Half-Birthday to Me
I can't believe I am a year and a half old already! I just can't seem to learn enough! After daddy went back to work, mommy took me to see some horses (one of my favorite animals!) We also went to the pool, splash park, and played in the sprinkler a lot. Nana Arden took care of me a couple of times while mommy had things she had to do and we had so much fun! She taught me how to walk up and down the stairs while holding the railing. (She thinks I need to hold her hand still, but I know I can do it by myself!) I was able to put a slip-on shoe on my foot all by myself too! When mommy or daddy start counting and say "one", I can say, "two, free"! I'm so smart! I also know that "gas" goes in a "awn mower" and "wee e-er" (lawn mower and weed eater). I like to pray to "Jesus" and the "possels" (apostles"). I said my first 3 syllable word too: "applesauce"! I ask questions like, "Where go?", and can tell mommy and daddy "all gone" and "all done". I repeat a lot of what mommy and daddy say. I got another eye tooth-that makes a total of 15, and another is coming in. I really like throwing my food on the floor, but mommy and daddy don't seem to happy about that. I had a surprise visit from grandma and grandpa today. I had a lot of fun showing them all my stuff! Mommy seems pretty sad though, because I am going back to the baby-sitter's tomorrow when she goes to work. I'm just excited to see my friends again! When I am thinking of something, I say, "hmmmm..." and tap my finger to my chin, like this:
As close as I got to a horse without mommy
Tea party set-up
Line 'em all up
See my baby blues
Ballerina girl
Waking up with daddy
Sprinkler fun!
Dancing with daddy
Hula girl!
Showing mommy the animals
Reading with Grandma
I love to count!

17 1/2 Months...A little bit of everything!
So many different things have happened since I turned 17 months! I went to my baby-sitter's house for a party and got to swim in their pool. It was nice to see my friends again. I will be there full time soon enough when mommy goes back to work. Mommy thought I felt warm before bed, but I woke up with a fever the next day. It lasted for 4 days, and spiked as high as 103 degrees! Then, I had a rash 2 days later. You guessed it-roseola! I got good news when we were at the doctor's though-I won't have to have another shot until I am 4-6 years old! Grandma and grandpa came while I was sick. I tried to be as happy as I could, and they said I was in a really good mood considering. I got another eye tooth on top that week too, and that makes 14 total! Mommy also had some oral surgery done during this time, so I hung out with Daddy and Nana Arden quite a bit while Mommy healed. After I was feeling better, we went to the library for story time, Little Swimmers, and the splash park. It was a lot of fun! I also got my 18 month pictures taken. Here is the link:

Daddy just went back to work, and I really miss him. Mommy told me that she can't keep up with writing down all of my words, but here are some highlights: stars, Todd, "o-meal" (oatmeal), ostrich, "hunnah" (thunder), "a-pane" (airplane), home, "cheer-os" (Cheerios), "a-mals" (animals), "ittle" (little), and hearts. I also know my name and can say it, and I recognize myself in pictures. I still haven't quite figured out who this baby is when I look in the mirror though!
Grandma was snuggly when I wasn't feeling great.
All better and ready for a walk!
I lulled Daddy to sleep!
Refreshing run in the rain before bath and bedtime
Just look at my little ringlets! And everyone says I don't have hair!
I do too have hair!
I just love pressing those buttons!
Big girl tennis shoes
Weeeee....
Here is the "baby" afghan Mommy finally finished for me. Her excuse is that I came two weeks early!
I love the cars they make for me
