Finishing up my 6th week!

I can't believe I am already 6 weeks old! I have really grown a lot this week, and learned a lot too! I smiled more, and daddy got to see lots of them. I also visited daddy at work, and mommy's old work this week. I learned that the Mizzou Tigers are fun to watch! Daddy said I was a good luck charm when he held me after their Thursday night win, and he had to hold me again on Sunday. Too bad I didn't help them during that game. I think I'm ready to shoot some hoops! You can see that I am a lot more alert now, and can look at people when they talk to me. I just wish I knew what mommy was saying to me! I also started to enjoy my swing a little more. I love my rainforest friends. They are in my crib too! Mommy told me that she loved Sesame Street when she was little. I learned this song...'C' is for cookie, it's good enough to eat, cookie, cookie, cookie starts with 'C'. As you can see, my personality is starting to show more. Can't wait to show you what I will do next!

Here is a short video of me on my tummy!

Week # 5...

I got to enjoy some tummy time on Daddy's tummy. We both enjoyed our nap.

Mommy and I got more quality time together in the comfy chair.

Sadie got to sniff my head some and she was very nice to me. Mommy made sure of that.

My favorite friend, Freddy the Firefly and I got to spend some time together while I was practicing lifting my head up.

Mommy and Daddy told me the police were here so I had to put 'em up!

This past week was great. I smiled for the first time at Mommy. I am still holding out on Daddy. I am now 5 weeks old, as you can see by the hand I am holding up in my picture. Aren't I smart? Ok, well I only have 4 fingers up, give me a break, I am only 5 weeks old!

1 Month Old, WOW!

Our pets, Sadie and Tiger finally were brave enough to sit in the same room with me.

I also had a lot of tummy time. I am learning to lift my head up and to find my hands and fingers.

I know that Mommy loves me and I love it when she holds me! I love it better when she feeds me!

Daddy gave me a big kiss, I am glad he brushed his teeth first!

I had a great week! I turned 1 month old today! Mommy and Daddy took my picture in my new outfit from Nonna and Poppa Frankenberg. I am not quite big enough to fill out my newborn pants yet, but I love them anyway! I am looking forward to month number 2!

The Week In Review

This past week has been really incredible. It all started with a picture of mom and me on my due date. I guess I kind of messed that up, didn't I?

Then Grandma came to visit me and everyone was very happy to have her here, especially me. I loved it when she held me at night.

I had more visitors on Saturday. Heather and Sean came to see me and brought someone much closer to my age to see me too. She liked to touch my head.

Today I am three weeks old and put myself to sleep for the very first time. I know that mom and dad are proud of me. It was a very good week.

2 weeks old and going strong

We wanted to post a few more pictures of Baby Boyer. The first one is her two week old picture. This was the date she was originally due on. We are seeing some real growth. We have noticed her getting bigger and weighing more, especially during those late nights! The second picture is one of daddy and her reading a book together. We hope that you all enjoy!

One Week Old!

Our Baby Boyer turned a week old this past Sunday! Look at her growth compared to the Care Bear!
We have not been very good with correspondence recently-e-mails, phone calls. Please forgive us as we are trying to get used to the new addition in our life!
P.S. We are not sharing Our Baby Boyer's first name on line for privacy/safety reasons. Feel free to contact us if you would like more information about her!

Our Baby Boyer Has Arrived!

Our baby daughter arrived at 5:05 AM on Sunday, February 15, 2009. She was 6 lbs. 4 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. Jennifer's water broke on Saturday morning, but she didn't know it! (Can we say denial?) Eleven hours later, we headed for the hospital, and knew we wouldn't leave without a baby.

We had to be induced because contractions had not started. The pitocin made the contractions go from nothing to very painful. We were hoping for a drug-free labor and delivery, but at midnight, that went out the window with the epidural. Five hours and five minutes later, we had the most beautiful little girl handed to us!

We came home on Tuesday, February 17 and survived the first night without many problems, and the second night without much sleep. We are getting the hang of nursing, changing diapers, and running on fumes, but wouldn't have it any other way.
Here are some pictures of our bundle of joy! We will try to update as often as she lets us!
