12 1/2 Months...Just can't stay away from the blog!

I know I said I would only update the blog once a month, but so much is happening that I just couldn't wait! I found out after my birthday that I am scared of balloons when they are on the ground next to me. They are funny when they are taped up though. I got to go to the library again for Wee Ones. I had my 12 month doctor's appointment and got 3 shots-they hurt and I got bruised this time! That same night, we had a Parents as Teachers appointment. I love to show off what I can do! Guess what-I can stand up on my own! And, I just started cruising! Look out world-here I come! I know I put that other ball under here somewhere! Getting ready for a nice cold walk around the neighborhood.Up close and personal! Taking a cruise in my new wagon! I love my wagon box as much as I love my wagon! 12 Months...Happy Birthday to Me!

I am now officially 1 year old! I had my first birthday party and family and friends came. I got a lot of neat toys, books, CD's and clothes but the best part was being around my grandparents. I really love that. Mommy and Daddy will start taking pictures of me monthly now so watch close, because I will start growing fast. I loved my birthday and I also loved my first taste of cake, icing, and ice cream! Look out world I love my sweets. I got to go to the mall and have my pictures done with Mommy on my birthday. That was an adventure. I got mad again and held my breath and passed out. Mommy hates it when I do that. I got my pictures done and they are ordered so we will be sending them out soon. I have also been able to stand more on my own and I can give kisses as well. Mommy really loves the kisses. Thank you all for coming to my birthday party. I loved having you there and I hope to see you all really soon. All the presents were nice but I LOVED the ribbons best! What is this? Oh, Oh, please give me a cupcake! I think I know what to do with this... Yeppers, I do know..mmmmmm, tastes good! What else can I do with this? Is it bath night? I think the sugar has kicked in! Mission accomplished, cupcake has been destroyed! My second cupcake...still just as good as the first! On top of my moutain! Great gift mommy and daddy! Me eating at my birthday party!

52 Weeks...My birthday week!

I can't believe it-I will be a year old tomorrow! Today is my birthday party and I am so excited to figure out what that is. There are all kinds of decorations and balloons and the house smells really sweet. Mommy and daddy decided to update the blog once a month now since I am a year old, so keep checking back for my monthly adventures! But, of course, we will do one for my birthday! This week was kind of cool because I got to hang out with mommy and daddy again on Monday and Tuesday because of snow days. We played a lot! Week 51...Finally feeling better!

Whew, what a week! I have been sick just about all week with tummy issues. Mommy and Daddy even had to take me to the doctor. He said that it was a virus and would have to run its course. Today, I am finally feeling better. I did not have to have my pj's or bed sheets changed in the middle of the night for the first time since Tuesday! Daddy got what I had so he is not feeling well this weekend. I am getting excited about my first birthday party and seeing everyone next week. I got my 4th tooth on top, which now makes 7 total! I was able to stand up behind my walker this week and take a couple of steps. Mommy and Daddy think that is a really big deal but I still prefer walking on my knees behind it. My hair is getting longer too, Mommy can mess with it in the bathtub and it also gets static electricity and sticks up everywhere. My new hairdo! Me and my walker! Week 50...Getting closer to 1 year old!

Lots of action this week with my birthday getting close. Mommy and Daddy got the house put back together and I got to help make it all messy again. Mommy got me a tick-tock clock for my room that I can look at all the time. We got to go to the library this week and listen to some songs and see some cool stuffed animals. I even saw my friend from the Annie's there! I am kind of sad this week because I am no longer with my long time pal, the infant car seat. Mommy and Daddy installed the new big girl car seat last weekend. My first trip in it did not go so well. I am kind of used to it now though. My teeth seem to be coming in very fast. I have three at the bottom with one more coming in. The top has 3 with another one coming in as well. I am really looking forward to seeing everyone at my first birthday party. Oh yeah, there was a problem with my videos on here but they have fixed that now.

Week 49...Had so much fun I passed out!

What a week! When I was sitting on the floor this week, I lost my balance and fell and hit my head. I have done this many, many times but this time it was close to bedtime so I got mad. When I get mad I hold my breath and don't cry. Well, I guess I held it a little too long because I passed out for a second. Mommy and Daddy were really scared, but I bounced back in a few minutes and was on the couch bouncing around and playing. Next time I think I will just go ahead and cry! I have started using my walkers but I like to push them around while standing on my knees. There is a funny video of me doing that this week. I got to spend a lot of time with daddy this weekend while mommy was at some meetings. Daddy put me to bed on Friday night and played with me during the day on Saturday. On Saturday night I got to play with my friend Ashley. Her mommy came to visit my mommy. We had a fun time. I have learned that I am pretty possessive of my toys! Daddy also found another tooth in my mouth! I have only had 2 on the bottom since I was 6 months old, but now, they have a friend! Overall it was a great week. Here I am kneeling along! HA HA Get it? Baby Scientist? How about mad scientist :-) Finally, I am free of this thing called the crib! Me and my pal! Aunt Heather reading to us! My unique way of walking!

Week 48....Stupid Teeth Again!

I am close to being 1 years old! This week has been good except for my silly teeth. I got so frustrated that I started chewing on my crib! I got a surprise visit from Nana and Papa Frankenberg. I woke up just in time to see them and play a little bit before they left. I really appreciated them coming to see me. I am now eating solid food. No more pureed foods for me, I am becoming a big girl now. I love noodles and spaghetti sauce as well as sweet potatoes. Sometimes I eat my green beans and peas but not all the time. I also love bananas and yogurt. Mommy and Daddy set up a bunch of pillows on the ground that I love to jump around on. I also love bouncing on the couch and bed. I am looking forward to next month and my first birthday party, it should be a lot of fun! The invitations went out this week!
